Register and Schedule
Individuals interested in taking the assessment must follow these steps:
Visit https://mc-gsx.learningbuilder.com/ to register as a candidate.
- You will be asked to complete a short demographic survey, and review and electronically sign an agreement regarding the security and confidentiality of the CMCO assessment content.
Schedule your exam.
- The CMCO exam is offered at all Pearson VUE testing centers across the United States, Europe and Asia.
- After registration, you will be directed to the Pearson VUE website to schedule your exam at the location of your choice.
Assessment Fee: A non-refundable fee will be required to take the CMCO assessment. The fee is collected at the time you schedule your exam with Pearson VUE. For specific rates please see the table below:

NO SHOW POLICY: If a candidate does not cancel or reschedule a confirmed exam at least 48 hours before the scheduled time or does not show for their scheduled exam, the candidate will still be charged the test fee as if the candidate had attended.

The CMCO credential is active for a three-year period and will expire unless the certificant retakes the CMCO assessment. Individuals who fail to meet the certification maintenance requirements every three years will receive a notice from GSX that the credential has expired. Individuals who allow their GSX credential to expire must apply as new candidates and meet all of the requirements in place at the time of application.
